By accessing or using Grant Clarity ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Grant Clarity reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Grant Clarity is an AI-powered tool that helps nonprofit organizations interpret and understand grant opportunities. The Service analyzes grant descriptions and provides plain-English summaries, eligibility assessments, and recommended next steps. Grant Clarity also offers grant discovery, application tracking, and proposal writing tools.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Service require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Grant Clarity offers a free tier with limited usage (3 grant interpretations) and a paid subscription plan ("Grant Clarity Pro") at $9 per month for unlimited access and additional features. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal.

5. Billing and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis by contacting our support team.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The grant interpretations, summaries, and recommendations provided by Grant Clarity are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. Grant Clarity does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should independently verify all information before making decisions based on the Service's output.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems. You may not use the Service to generate misleading or fraudulent grant applications.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted grant text), is the property of Grant Clarity and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any grant text you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Grant Clarity a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grant Clarity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if Grant Clarity has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
